OB and HRM

The Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Area is composed of faculty team with expertise in Human Resources Management, Industrial welfare and Labour relations, Organizational design, Interpersonal and Group process and Psychology. It offers elective courses which lays the foundation for an HR career and also courses which are more topical issues like HR analytics, Diversity Management and Retention Management. The Area has faculty members with doctoral degrees from the best management schools in the country. They hold memberships and affiliations with some of the leading knowledge bodies in the country and across the globe. The faculty members actively contributes for the area's knowledge pool through publications, researches, consultancy, MDPs and case studies. The Area continuously strives to support in enhancing the learning space for the students both within and outside class rooms. It mentors theHRiday, a students managed HR club encourages its activities like HR labs & workshops, interactions with HR practitioners etc. The HRiday Career clinic is one of the notable guidance provided by the Area to the students with HR career interest.
