Dr. Abhishek Ranga is currently working with the Institute as an Associate Professor in the area of Finance and Accounting. He is a Management graduate and holds Doctorate in Finance. He is also a qualified Cost Accountant, and is an associate member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (earlier ICWAI).Dr. Abhishek started his career as a Management Trainee with Pancea Biotec Ltd., after spending around four years in Pharmaceutical Industry he moved to academics. He joined GIM in the year 2011, before GIM he was with Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies, Harihar; he has around nine years of teaching experience. During these nine years he had gained academic administration experience in the capacity of area coordinator, coordinating rating and raking activities for the Institute.His area of research and teaching includes Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting and Analysis, IFRS, Corporate Disclosure, Corporate Taxation, Firm Valuation. To his credit he has around 20 research papers published and presented in various national and international conferences. He has also conducted training program for the executives of Cipla, Sesa Goa, Dutch Committee for Afghanistan, Kirloskar Group, Kalpatru Power Transmission Limited etc.
