Profile:

Dr. Ranjan DasGupta is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Finance & Accounting area. Before joining GIM, he has 19 years of teaching experience in Xavier University Bhubaneshwar (XUB) (in BM [XIMB], RM & SOC areas), IEM, Kolkata, etc. He is a rank-holder in both post-graduation and M.Phil courses under the University of Calcutta. He has published 27 national and international papers in Journals like Review of Behavioral Finance (Emerald), IIMB Review (Elsevier), Decision (Springer), Australasian Accounting, Business and Finance Journal, etc. till date. His papers has also been accepted in renowned national and international conferences in India, Germany, Singapore, Mauritius, etc. He has also undertaken administrative responsibilities in admission and research & development areas in previous Institutions. His area of teaching and research includes Financial Reporting & Analysis (FRA), Accounting for Decision Making (ADM), Corporate Governance (CG), Behavioral Finance (BF), SAPM, Business Valuation (BV) and Finance Sustainability Practices, etc.
