Job description and responsibilities of MARKETING MANAGER

The Admissions Office is responsible for the Full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Management (240 seats), Full- time Postgraduate Diploma in Management-Healthcare (60 seats), Full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Management- Big Data Analytics (60 seats) and in helping out with the Postgraduate Diploma in Management -Part Time (60 seats). The Admissions office undertakes Publicity and Digital Marketing initiatives to educate/ inform potential applicants and candidates. The publicity is mostly done on the internet, with emphasis to engage the applicants and facilitate dialogue.

GIM offers Management/ Executive Development Programs to industry, government, NGO and academic participants. These are in the form of in-company as well as open programs. The open programs need mass marketing and branding efforts in order to reach out to prospective participants and involves designing of collaterals (flyers, videos, advertisements, brochures) as well as promoting these programs through various media channels.

The role of Publicity coordinator will be to identify opportunities, create contents, and monitor the content usage and liaison with the agencies engaged by GIM for the purposes of GIM admissions as well as for marketing of MDPs offered by GIM.

For Full-time Postgraduate Programme Diploma in Management and Full-time Postgraduate Programme in Healthcare Management, and Full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Management- Big Data Analytics, Admission activities are categorized in following parts:

Publicity Coordinator is responsible for all Marketing/ Publicity needed for the above, as well as, the Publicity/ Visibility of the institute, in general, as part of brand building of GIM.

Job Description and responsibilities for MANAGER - CORPORATE RELATIONS & PLACEMENTS

The person should be responsible for engaging corporate stakeholders for a variety of involvement on campus. These include placements, engaging for MDPs, sourcing guest speakers, inviting senior executives for events and talks, as well as sponsorship solicitation for institutional events.

The role of corporate relations manager would be to identify corporate stakeholders to engage with, take up an active engagement with them, and coordinate placements as well as initiate MDP leads with these stakeholders.

Job Description and responsibilities for MANAGER - OUTBOUND PROGRAMS

The Outbound Programs manager would essentially be the external and extra-curricular engagement point for the institute for various academic, co-curricular and extra curricular initiatives. He would also be nodal point for field and other visits. Currently field visits are mostly done for the Give Goa, Give Goa health, Know Your Health Provider (KYHP), Joint International Internship Scheme (JIIS), field visits of student trips such as the one conducted for Kansas University, MDP participants and similar initiatives. This would also involve coordinating with the client organisation, or other stakeholders who would be partnering the field visit exercises, beginning from identifying client or partner organisations, to working out the details of the engagements and then ensuring the logistics are arranged for executing the field visits.

The outbound manager can also handle coordination of Co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities, such as, Foreign language classes, Toastmasters, Choir, Sports, Participation in college fests (coordinating with mentor faculty).

Participate in the design, administration and monitoring of academic courses & research projects. The RA will analyse and evaluate data gathered during research. Will report to a faculty member at the level of Associate Professor or Professor.
